Firefly came to us from Anne Ritzinger of Ritz-O-Cats. We will always have a special place in our hearts for Firefly, who was Gavin’s first Junior Showmanship kitty and the first kitty to capture my husband’s heart. Always there to lend a paw, Firefly enjoyed being on the couch with us and loved to strike up meaningful conversation when the moment was right. She would meow, then pause while you spoke, meowing when you had finished your sentence and carrying on the conversation in the same fashion. We will miss her gentile conversations and her sweet purrs, but know that she is in a good place in her new home. She has been adopted by a good friend of ours who is the shelter coordinator of a city shelter and we know she is much loved by her new family.
